The weatherman is forecasting 55 mph wind gusts for tomorrow night. As soft as our ground is there should be plenty of trees going down. I wonder if our wood pile will fall??? Going out today to tighten up the tarps.

Well yesterday I had winds of 70+km 45 mph today I have a wind chill of -25F, air temp -13f Need less to say the ground ain't soft! but I am sure when it warms and the Chinook hit's 100km(60mph) warm wind I will have even more tree's to cut:)I have almost all of next years wood, but might be a little short for this year and have to cut some nice dead standing to make it through this winter and this year looks like winter will not end till May!

...VERY WINDY CONDITIONS EXPECTED TUESDAY NIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY...

AN INTENSIFYING LOW PRESSURE IS EXPECTED TO MOVE ACROSS THE UPPER

NORTHWESTERLY WINDS...WHICH SHOULD LINGER INTO WEDNESDAY. PEAK GUSTS
OF 40 TO 50 MPH SHOULD BE COMMON...ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE WIND PRONE
AREAS OF SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA...NORTHEAST IOWA AND RIDGETOPS OF
SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN. THOSE WITH TRAVEL PLANS...ESPECIALLY IN HIGH
PROFILE VEHICLES...ARE ADVISED TO KEEP ABREAST OF THE LATEST

Thanks for the heads up. I may have to adjust the plastic on the windows this afternoon! Some of it came loose after the last windy night.
