I am trying to find locals (Kingman area) to help me find wood sources. Some of you know my main source was closed down:censored: I just spent 5 months in Salt lake city working and have lost contact with my other wood source.
I do all the wood myself and do not want to go to Flagstaff (@400 miles round trip). I am on the phone but no one will give me an answer of where to get it (I can get it BUT, I am not going to steal it). I have 3 cords of pine and should get thru the winter this year:clap:

Ya, not a lot of wood up there (from what I've seen).

Rodeo Chedeski fire area (Overgaard) has lots and lots of ponderosa falling over.

I'm sure you've already tried; but call the forest service and BLM offices and ask if they have any wood removal or firewood cutting programs.

I called down here and found out about that mesquite in my other post.

Thank KRS for the info, looks like I head over to williams tho, that is only 150 miles away:) I tried the local BLM/Forest service and pickings is slim here.

I would be like a kid at xmas time in the overguard area:cheers:

Thanks
