The county is making the road wider on the south end of my parents farm and the tree service asked my dad if we wanted the trees they were taking down. My dad told them that I burn wood so they told him that any wood within a mile of the farm that nobody else wanted would be piled in the back field. :biggrinbounce2: I went back to look today and HOLY CRAP there is a lot of wood. I figure between 20 and 30 cord! A lot of elm, ash, some silver and hard maple and a couple of scotch pine logs all limbed, no brush to deal with.

There were about six trees that I could not figure out what they were. My neighbor who I am splitting the wood with thinks they may be locust, but I don't have a digital camera so does anyone have some pictures of different locust trees so I can compare? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Kyle
