The B-29 runs on four chainsaw motors. You can just imagine how much time, effort, skill and money these guys have put into this thing. Just remarkable! The skill in building such a model plane is truly amazing, but equally impressing are the superior piloting skills involved.

Can you imagine how B-29 pilots would have loved that STOL acceleration?

Can you imagine how much trouble you could get into by flying that thing over the Rose Garden during a function?

The B-52 is driven by miniature turbo-fans.

There is a Japanese company that actually makes miniature 4-stroke radial engines that would have powered the B-29, but at $4k each, it'd be a heart-breaker to accidentally crash it.

4 engine beauty

As an A&P Mechanic I can vouche for needing great dependability in the aviation field so those are likely Homelites on that B 29. All things considered Homelite = "Simply Reliable"

You chainsaw guys are about as opinionated as us plant health guys. It must surely be a slippery slope to call any brand "the most reliable" here.

What do you suppose the displacement is? The fuel consumption must be terrible.
