had this on the backburner from last year gonna start mine today,i cant take credit though i got the idea from a guy i took a large cherry down for last yr.(biggest log was 27" on small end, others were 25,24,24.all 8').he used a tripod from a silo w/a eyebolt in the top&a set of chainfalls& we had to set a piece of pipe on my trailer when i backed up&picked up the other end&when the tripod hit the fenders we set the log on a piece @2"x3' pc. of water pipe and rolled the logs forward.when you dont have the equipment or cant get the equipment in there this works great which was what happenend in this case(both)the septic/leachfield were in the way.this is also fairly portable w/a truck & or trailer.hope this helps.
