I was looking at this thread http://www.arboristsite.com/showthread.php?t=27296&highlight=5100+muffler+picture from 2005 that davefr posted about his 5100 muffler and then I started looking at mine. My muffler seems to have more junk in it than Dave's 2005 5100 muffler.
I wanted to see if anyone had pictures of their late model 5100 muffler apart so I could see how restrictive this muffler really is. I have read some posts that said there was not much gain from modding the stock muffler because it wasnt very restrictive, but mine looks like it needs to be gutted. If it wasnt such a pain to take it apart I would just do it.
