My two favorites are Farmer Loggers and Swarp.
A bad tempered and feared yarder engineer asked me about another crew working nearby and then pronounced them to be "Farmer Loggers". An equipment repair guy also mentioned "They look like Farmer Loggers" . It was not a compliment.
Swarp? It was a very local term used back in the days of clearcutting. As in, "We will just swarp it." I have since found out that it is a term native to the Southern Appalachians. The local area I lived in had folks who migrated from East Tennessee.
