someone gave me an insert for a fireplace. it appears to be in good shape and the fans all work, it's just missing the firebricks on the bottom.

the door swings downward and is on chains and it has two screw type dampers at the bottom corners.

i have no use for it at all, so i was thinking of throwing it on craigslist and maybe swapping for a chainsaw or something.

think it's worth it?

Probably is but getting to be the wrong time of year to make a good deal I bet. People are thinking of spring now and not wood burning.

post up some pics , is it an EPA stove ? if not , $50.00-$100.00

There's an ass for every seat: go for it! Just be sure to replace the firebrick first; they don't cost much.

lol...true.

i threw it up on craigslist for $150 or b/o.

i also said i would trade for a working chainsaw with at least a 20" bar, or i'd trade it for a set of tree climbing spikes in excellent condition.

hey.....ya never know. :)

it was free.
