Flared Full Wrap Cover #

Of course I did a search but just want to double check . I would like to get the flared full wrap sprocket cover and deflector for my ms460. Search found
1138 648 0400 cover
1138 656 1500 deflector
A photo with part numbers so I know I'm ordering the right parts will be most helpful

You may want to change to the new style bar studs while you're at it. They do make life easier.

That will NOT fit the 460.. that's for the 441/361

You need 1122 648 0403, and.. 1122 656 1610 - the rubber guard.

I forgot you had already said that. Still that is what is on my 460 and I like it. The misfit is so minor I would not have noticed it if Andy had not pointed it out. Thanks I think.

Sorry, I really don't intend on highjacking this thread.

Can you put the 441 Bar Studs on a 440/460 then counter drill the cover from the backside? I'm a little scared as I don't want to split my cover but I figure the risk might not be too bad and the end result might be well worth the trouble.

I do really like the newer style of bar studs over the stock ones.

I have.. on all my saws! The new cover (number above) is already counter bored.

So if you were to replace covers would you buy a cover for a 441 and put it on the 440/460? Is the fit good enough?

I know it fits. The 440/460 cover doesn't work on the 441 however.

nope.. I'd buy the 1122 cover.. the correct cover...
