GRCS off of X rings?

has anyone rigged off of a GRCS fron Xrings to LIFT sections of branch? obviously some friction, not ideal, and a block would be better.

but can it be done, how much of a pain in the ass... is it a deal breaker?

It would be a couple of variables involving weight and rope type. I would encourage the use of a block then use the xrings to distribute the tie in of the sections for proper position and balance.

Big lifts might be one thing but just pretensioning a branch I don't see how it's going to be an issue. Try it and let us know...
