grunt??????????

do older saws have more grunt than newer saws , i have no older saws ,all my old saws, i sold off over years. i know they was torky saws but, memory is fading fast ,if you know what i mean so ,i dont know , i am going to start milling soon. i am looking for grunt , homie xl 800 mac 700 or even 610 will these saws have grunt for milling wood or should i stick with new ones with speed cutting and another thing im looking at is cost , im not tight a** with money .i just dont have any , with kids, hunting and wife and my toys im kinda strapped the economy sucks gas high sorry got little off track their thanks for input

I mill redgum with my Husky 395xp.No complaints so far and old redgum is bloody hard.
