bought a slightly used Hardy with the heat exchager coil plugged, tryed compressed air got a little movement, I guess it is 60 ft. long. Any Ideas? Thanks

Theres a way to clean a coiled heat exchanger with a rotating brush and a water flush, it's used a lot to maintain air conditioning systems in big buildings. Maybe a large HVAC contractor in your area would have something like that.

Used it here at work on condenser water barrels. or Chloroben DE, but only licensed plumbers can buy it...90% hydrochloric. Need to pipe up an acid pump, pump solution thru and thru until it clears...this kind of problem will affect most all HX/tankless heater owners sooner or later!
