Hi again, for the love of me I cant figure out the way the wee flat steel bar sits beside the carb, the one the yellowish coil wire fits onto, to kill the engine. Its almost as if he has left me a part short..anyone kind enough to have a photo or diagram of how this sits, so when the lever is pushed down it slides onto where the black wire sits?
Sorry, probably hard to understand...the shaped flat steel bit needs to be pinned down by something on the carb, looks like a small round rod, which I don't have. Got everything else figured (apart from the flywheel that is too fat to accept the 066 starter)..this saw is starting to really grind me!!

Thanks

This may help,

Thank you Pioneerguy, very much appreciated! Yes looks as though there is a metal pin holding that steel down, which I have not been given in this box of parts..will get the owner to hunt one down. Thanks for taking the time to post, appreciate it!
