Large Timber Saw

I am looking for a large timber saw. I would prefer a single man saw. I want to cut down some good sized trees. Something with some ripping teeth that provide large chips.

I'm talking about a hand saw, not a chainsaw. I don't want a chainsaw for many reasons.

If it is a cross cut you are looking for, shop the junk shops first. Should be able to pick one up for considerably less than new.

I spent a few hours on the wrong end of a 2-man cross-cut back as a kid. Never again. Yes, there is a wrong end on one, both are.
