Looking for Mesquite logs

Does anyone know where I could purchase maybe a few logs of mesquite. The reddish color. Not really sure how big they get, but maybe 6 or 8 logs around 18" or bigger in dia., maybe 8 to 12 feet long. I was just wondering if there were logging companies out there that you could purchase directly from. Of course, the closer to my location the better. I live in Vinton, LA next to the Texas border along interstate 10.
Any info would be great...
