No video. Note that the starter "ratchet" is left hand threads and you can lock the starter pulley with a hex key or similar device through the notch in the pulley and the hole where the spring ends. Once you get it apart it will be readily apparent is the spring has been damaged by the starter turning backwards. Take the entire flywheel housing off with the starter attached to work on it, don't take the three screws out of the starter base as the nuts behind them will most likely come loose and cause you more grief.

The spring should look like this.

If you only need to replace the starter rope, just remove the two screws from the cover, no need to go any further into it.
