Maple trees.

I've got a few maples trees on my little plot of land. 3 of them still have green leaves and on 3 others, their leaves turned yellow and dropped?

Why the difference? do some maples hold their leaves longer than others?

There could br several different explanations. The simplest is that you have a couple different maple varieties, and yes, some do hold their leaves longer than others.
