ms 441 muffler

Hello I am new to this site. I was wondering if anyone can tell me where I can buy a mod muffler for a new ms 441. Thanks in advance.

You might could send it to someone but doing it yourself would make it fun. Shoot "Peacock" a PM and see how he did his, I believe he modded his 441's muff.

Never did one before really don't want to mess up my new saw. Thanks for the info. If anyone would like to do this job for me I will pay.

Let's see if anyone else chimes in. The design of the saw may not respond well to a muff mod, without porting. I have not played with one yet.

If it's just brazing a extra pipe in, I will do it for ya for cost of pipe.

I ported the 441 that I usta own and it actually ran worse. Strato charge and x-tork engines dont respond well to muffler mods unless the rest of the cylinder and piston are heavily modded.

Yup, most say the 441 runs dam good as it is.

The ONLY reason I ported my 441 was to make it louder and make it sound cooler, and that it did, very well.

I wasn't going to charge him nothing though, a treat on me.

I just don't want to see the saw lose power and him have to buy another muffler.

I just took the spark aresster out of my from advice from a saw guy is
it going to run worse better or the same i will be cutting this weakend.
