See photos,
Aftermarket Clutch Cover, Waiting on rim sprocket to come in. No bumper spike, can probably scrounge a used one if it matters to you.
Small Crack in top cover
Compression 160, either this one or the other one with 160 compression i pulled the muffler, but was not able to get a good photo, piston was in good shape, lower compression due to wear or build variation IDK, some light brown deposits on piston, i would guess all these were run on stihl oil, or premixed fuel, they were ran by a company so probably buying premixed fuel would be easiest for them idk it was greenish fuel, anyone chime in on what that could be. Im guesssing running better fuel would clean it up.
Starts Runs idles fine etc. I have not cut wood with it.
More info on all 4 saws.
I've got a relationship/deal with a guy that runs a power pole inspection and treatment crew. They run drill attachments on these. Last time he brought me 5 saws that all had minor issues (mostly broken recoil ropes, drill attachment locked up etc, last time i had to adjust the idle on one)
This time i didn't find anything wrong with any of them, i had them all started within 5 minutes of getting them home. they all ran and idled fine, i did notice 1 had dirty fuel in it, no issues otherwise. I did swap out all the fuel and idled and rev'ved all of them. Checked that they start hot and cold etc. I think he just likes to make sure his crew has new saws (mentioned that it is a pain in the ass to have to send them to the shop, and that they just buy a pallet of them at a time) and likes to trade me for work on his personal saws that he uses to develop friends land etc.
I ran one of the 5 (the ugliest of the batch) for a bit over a year until i traded it back on this last deal, as he wanted another saw. I had no issues and mtronic is great, tons of power for a 50cc saw.
