MS440 Cold weather shudder???

Do all 440's have a cold weather shutter in the air cleaner cover? I was tinkering with my new saw and don't see one in the air cleaner cover like the manual illustrates. My 260pro has one in the air cleaner cover. It has the stihl heavy duty filter if that makes a difference?

The HD filter system does not use the shutter.

Thanks for the reply. Is the HD filter standard issue on that saw? Just wondering why it has that filter over the standard one.

Most 044s sold from the early 90s on had the HD filter. It will go much longer between cleanings.
