Stihl customer service gave me alist of dealers that deal in obsolete parts. I needed some stuff for a Mag II, model plate in particular. So, I called around with little luck.

Well, Woodcutters Headquarters in Akron NY said they had a saw they were parting out that had a nice plate. Said a couple of bucks. I asked if they could put it on a Visa and he said they had a $10 minimum. So, I said just charge me $10 for it and gave them my info. A couple of days later it came in an envelope with a note saying no charge. So, I'll stay off Stihl dealers butts, for a day or two anyway.

Mine stihl dealer just gave me two small fold out locking pocket knives. They are kina neat. Orange and black plastic handles, nice belt clip, blade indicates that it is stainless and made in china to boot. Not too shabby! Spend 2 or 3K a year at your local stihl dealer and you too can get a set!
