since we are ranting about mills I love my TK 1600. I have cut a ceadar log trimmed down to 36" wide with a chainsaw and 42" tall and 14' long. It was at capacity in almost every way. The mill performed awsome with the exception of the log dogs. I cut with Coalsmoke one day on his norwood 2000 and was very inpressed but I love the additional capacity of the TK 1600. We have lots of big trees over here.

I just purchased a used Norwood 2000 with a 23HP Honda, I cut a few times with it but have not set it where I will do all of the milling

Mike,

Did they change the 23HP motor to a Honda? I have one but it's a Briggs & Stratton.

Norwood is a decent mill, but so are many other mills. If I was looking for customer service, I would look at WoodMizer. Norwood could use some improvement with their customer service, IMO.
