Pics of a Homelite XL102 teardown...

Guess I'm going to put my money where my mouth is. Picked up this Homelite from a local Stihl dealer. My Fire Dept. is purchasing a new MS460 rescue saw. They had this Homelite saw in the back and I nabbed it. Thought I would post some pics of it as I tear it down.
Tag on the saw said not running. All I did was change the spark plug(wrong one and loose), add fresh mix and she came to life. The pics are just as I brought it home. I know it's old, but there are a few of us out there that like em' that way. If you like I will post the rest......Enjoy

The compression was 128lbs warm. In case you were wondering.

Nice looking saw. Theres just something about this XL series that I like. A bit more finesse than the XL-12s. Very light and rugged. Hope you can put it to good use.
