Newbie here,

I have a Pioneer NU-17 that my Father bought new (1962, 1963??) and I ran as a kid 45 odd years ago. She is S/N 185427. Still has great compression and we mothballed her empty around 1980. Wanting to here her run again for old times sake.

Looking for Primer Diaphragm, gasket, etc. Upon inspection this is the only part that has failed. It appears the the 400, 450, and 500 used the same one.

Also any information on the year of manufacture.

Thanks,
Mike

Thanks all. Yes it is separate from the carb and acts as a choke. Would like to find a breakdown of S/N by year if it exists. My truck is a 1962 and that would be cool.

I have 5 running NU17`s and rebuilt the primers on all of them. I have not found any more of the pump diaphragms for more than 5 years, likely still some out there somewhere but not easily found.
