As title says looking for a tank/rear handle for a poulan 415/475/505 or partner 7700/710

Gen1 Gen2 yellow tanks. Gen1 older air filter style. Gen2 yellow was later air filter set up with no air injection.

Gen3 505 was a black tank with updated air filter and air injection.

So only yellow in Gen1 and Gen2. IMHO unless doing a Gen1 for collecting. I always updated my saws to Gen3 later or at least the Gen2 for the better air filter set ups. Gen1 suked literally.

I just found a Gen1 for a guy for a collector saw not for real use so he wanted one. But be prepared to pay because they aint cheap bare or whole for a few years anymore.

Yeah it’s a 415 with a yellow tank, plan to put a 54mm jug on it I have, if I don’t find a yellow tank or they’re that hard to find it’ll just sit on a shelf.

I had 415's with Gen1 and Gen2 yellow tanks. Most came with the Gen1 worst air filter one. Yours Gen1?

Thats the easier one to find of the yellow ones. That is the early Gen1.

So this? That way I know for sure if come across another.

I have NOS parts for those systems. Just out of tanks in yellow.

I have one usable black left. Think it is down to bare if I recall right.

You need the air filter set up and trim inside the old air filter covers to use.

I did my 475 and some 415's in updated black set ups. IMO the best of the series for AF and AI.
