Greetings and saluataions board members,

We bravely went into the southern part of the wilderness today and visited the local seqoiua dealer and noticed the new units do not have the smoke bypass door and he has one of last years whispering pines with coal grates that still has the bypass door.

Why has this changed? or should my question be-is the new set up better? as it has a "hold up dont open the boiler door latch stop to let it flame out etc.

I just received my first load of kerosene today, might as well be JP 4-5 or diesel and it was 642.00 plus fuel tax to fill the tank with 142 gallons so I am doing some real hard thinking again as the old boiler is 26 years old but only has 25 gallons of water.

Any thoughts would be appreciated
