I retrieved what I believe to be my saw that was stolen but the serial numbers have been removed. Is there another serial number inside the engine housing anywhere?
Yes. But you have to split the case to find it. Maybe a little easier on a plastic clamshell saw, because you don't have to get into the engine, but still a lot of stuff to pull off first, and a lot of guys don't like to do it.
