Anyone tried a rotary carbide burr to sharpen chain?
I have a carbide burr and it is great for rapid removal of all sorts of metal it is too big to use on chain but I'm sure you can get a cylindrical burr the right size.

just started yesterday, as a matter of fact. . . yee ha!
I've used a 12 volt oregon rotary sharpener for about 20 years, now.
I had to order the burr from norco (welding store) cost me about ten and a half bucks. What a dream! no more busted dremmel shafts (they taper right when they hit the stone, making a breakaway point). no more used up stones (I hope). And I can also take down the rakes with it. You gotta watch the initial contact, they can jump on ya, and eat a chunk of tooth. Just different level of "be careful". and for taking down rakes, it is a both hand operation for control.
