Hey arboristsite, i just purchased a used SDM-4 grinder and it has a couple levers i havent seen before. Ive tried searching info about these but no luck! If anyone knows anything about these fancy extras or can point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated. 
Ive played with them a bit and they seem to drive the carriages forward into the stone and stop wherever you have it set, the only issue is if you put any pressure on them they push the carriage upwards off the slide.
