This is my latest CAD saw. It is a Skilsaw 1646. From what I have been able to gather it is the same saw as a Partner F65 but sports the pea green Skilsaw color. It fired right up and seems to run well. It looks as if the saw was dropped in some way. You can see from the photos that the top is cracked, nothing major. The starter housing is also cracked along the bottom, just below the pulley. This is not visible in the photos. This will need to be addressed, either a creative JB Weld job or a new, used side cover. What are the chances of finding the side cover in the pea green Skilsaw color or even the black and yellow Partner version?

It has 135 psi @ 5400 feet of compression. That should put it somewhere near 160 psi at sea level.

I am just curious about information on this saw if anyone has any input.

Thanks

I see nothing has been done to improve the appearance of the freezer. And those cobwebs- oh my heck! :greenchainsaw:

OK -- I confess -- very cool find. I didn't know that Skil once made a chainsaw-- or had one made in their name. Nice find. No rep though. HAH!

Repeat after me, "obsessive compulsive". Besides, it is not spring yet, thus I have not done any spring cleaning (nor do I plan to). I did add a calf to the freezer this week, do I get any points for that?
