Bar codes on lumber is just not right. Use some real wood for that project.

Here's mine, made from bits and pieces from an old x-ray machine.

I used it with a Homelite 340 with 20" bar on a 24" home made mill.

As well as short stuff, if you build them right they can be used to also hold weird shapes, roots and burls etc

Not going to be such a great show. Got off to a slow start and only got one cant done. Tomorrows another day.

The bar coded wood is left over from a job I did this summer.

Ya, Bob I remember the thread, garbage picker. I wasn't going to cut up the burl, just for show. I'd like to make a giant bowl with it. I was out to cut some cherry cants I milled last winter. I still have three left. Also a few odds and ends. The table worked well.
