Whould you pay 400$ gor this saw? The owner says it works, it doesn’t have the clutch

Might be worth nothing or 500. Get them to start it. Whip off the muffler and have a look inside. Ask why the clutch is missing, that might not be a good sign
the owner sent me a video. It works and sounds fine and i will see what i just bought this week.
 
Looks like you will need to hunt down a few parts. But, hard to believe it is not worth that.

i will inspect it in the morning, but so far i like it, it starts. The man bought it from france with 60 euros

i have like 25 codes for parts. i hope i can find them

I bet you can. You need to get the correct illustrated parts list. Looks like some of the oiler drive, brake band, brake spring, clutch , clutch drum, brake cover..... All should be available new from Stihl. Better for your pocket book to round as much up used as you can.
