Yah, very possible...was the relief valve a Watts 100XL?

Yes it was someting like that and the new one had another letter or something. The tag was blue on one I beleive and green on the other. I am at work right now so I can't look. I can check when I get home if you would like.

not important...that is Watt's standard residential type relief valve. Don't feel bad about the unintended shower...last one I got was from leaking water from a commercial fire sprinkler system...ugggh!
