I am looking for a bell housing adapter that will mate a 302 ford and a Rockford pto. My pto is sae 4. I have read that many chippers have used this set up but have not been able to locate any parts. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks, Rick

Post some pics of the engine bolt pattern and the pto. I have a housing off a 300 but I think it probably
had a funk clutch and pto. Came off an Asplundh drum chipper.

The engine and clutch assembly is still mounted in a vintage water well drilling rig that I want to put back in service. I have attached a chart that shows the bolt pattern dimensions for the sae 4 clutch.
I was also told today that the ford 300 six and 302 v8 do not share the same bolt pattern. I have read that it does, so I need to verify that as well.
