i have been cutting a lot of wood lately and i will be building a front porch on the house with a roof on it and i would like to utilize some of the trees i am cutting for my support beams.
i have been cutting locust and cottonwood, i was curious if the cotton wood would work for this and if so what should i do to treat it
if there are other trees let me know what you recomend
i live in iowa some something native there
