I got a saw im rebuilding that i need a recoil for let me know what you got i also need a case aswell (new style ms440)

In the past, ive taken an aftermarket recoil, and installed a new oem pulley, pawls, clip, and washer. Then I put a Stihl badge on it, couldn’t tell the difference. You can swap out the spring too for oem if you want. Perfect paint match and looks like new one.

what exactly are you lookin for Recoil cover? I have both OEM and aftermarket. OEM are worn aftermarket are new

Aftermarket is magnesium, recoil, clutch cover, crankcase, all magnesium.

I compared one to a new oem one and the color was the exact same. Contrary to popular belief, stihl’s are actually a light grey. They look more white when they are old and faded.
