What would an o38 mag , IN pretty rough shape and probably stuck , plastic faded and cracked muffler dented in , be worth ? Then there was also a 045 av there to in kinda same shape.

Last year I spotted a descent looking 2 man McCulloch in a scrap pile when selling iron. When getting paid I asked if they sell saws out of their scrap, they "ya we sell em" so asked if I could go pull some out, and then who do I ask for a price. They said "ya, us" as I walked away they said $.25 a lb..
All I found worth while was the Mac, but the 80lb whopper cost me $20 and sold for $250 the next day at a flea market booth a freind had at the local power of the past show. My freind was tickled with $50 and I gained $180 for horsing the beast around 1/2 hour in the 90 degree heat.
Most places I would guess would take a little more then scrap price but some may expect more .
Quite a few of those saws get busted up from being tossed, so look em over good.

Been messing with a Mcculloch 310. I found out the plastic cover over the carb and the throttle cable are both very brittle and are no longer functional. Anyone have one of these little devil contraptions or parts they would like to move on? I have a box of little yellow devil saws in pcs if anyone needs, but nothing to fit this one. Little red parts too.

You What?!!!.................................................

Yea, I know.I probably should have my azz kicked. I bought a storage building full of saw stuff including around 100 old saws. I sold most of them locally and what didn't sell I dismantled and scrapped out. I 've still got a lot of parts and bars and a few saws left that I am going to sell or trade.

Remington SL-4 parts saw wanted.

Just the powerhead. Can be locked up, white death, broken fuel tank, missing carb. or ?

Need the handle, handle brace and recoil spring to repair an SL-4A with very low hrs.

Need the crankcase cover (clutch side w/bar mount), clutch cover and recoil bits for a PL-4. (The SL-4 cover will fit)

No, the handle from the PL-4 won't work on the SL-4 because of the design change of the reed.
:bang:

Have an XL-12 parts saw to trade or lots of XL-101 bits.

Lets not be trashin' all them good Remy parts fellas. I'll give 'em a good home.

Big Dan: PM if you want that Walbro..............................................free.

So today I was at a shop working and getting parts for my first fix. While getting my stack muffler found out that my piston was scored. Well, so is the piston on the other homelite XL 12 that I have for parts. I'm looking for a piston if anyone has 1.

I'm not shure if the piston from an XL-101 would work in an XL-12 but both models have a 1.750" bore. The SXL and the larger XL-100 types share the same bore also, 1.812".

I have one of each size in used but serviceable condition.

P.M. Chainsawlady, she my know about interchangeability.

Looking for Stihl MS200T & MS660 parts

I’m looking for the following Stihl parts in good usable condition:

MS200T

2 pcs brake handle / guards
1 pc The handle bar section which goes from the lower AV mount to the side of the top handle.
1 pc Air filter cover with screw
1 pc intake manifold
1 pc Intake manifold retaining plate. This is the square piece of plastic with the round hole in the middle.
1 pc The little L shaped steel plate which retains the carb access cover.
2 pcs 14" bars with 3/8 Picco chains.

MS660

2 pcs brake handle / guards
1 pc good usable cylinder (54mm bore)
1 pc intake manifold

I can find most of these parts on eBay, but would rather deal with someone from AS. If anyone can help out please PM. I do have a complete MS390 motor with less than 2 hours on it before a tree crushed it. It does have a couple broken fins, but nothing which will cause any problems.

Thanks in advance,
MP5N

Mostly all junk with issues. Can't bring myself to throw it away.:( Free as long as the postage don't get stupid.

P.M. for discription of an item.

Edit: Almost looks like a real saw at the top there but, it's just big chunks stacked together.

Ooo... pick me! Pick me!

I kinda like basket cases. :)

Then again... I probably shouldn't be starting any more projects right now... :buttkick:

Could any of that even be put together into a runner? Just curious.

Looking for a few worn out drive sprockets and possibly a half-full box of smoked MS 290 pistons.

If this is something you have none of I'm also looking for a saw in the Homelite 410/540 variety and also any older Huskies in the 180/280/380/1100/2100 variety.

What do you have to trade for a decent, running 2100?

Trust me. Unless you have an XL-100 type needing parts, you don't want any of the magnesium in the picture.

(smilies not working.................................again.)
