Just heard that Jed Walters, aka InbredJed was killed Jan 20th 2023 when he was hit by a dislodged branch whilst clearing storm damage.

Oh no, that's too bad. I remember seeing his nickname appear on some Youtube videos and clicking to see what it was all about. Seemed like a guy that just enjoyed everything he did. Sorry to hear this.

I’ve only seen a couple of videos of him, but he seemed like a humble, down to earth guy. So sad - a sharp reminder of the dangers that come with tree work. There has been an incredible turn out for the go fund me, what a great community.

Praying for the family. He was a cool dude I watched on youtube, learning how to cut down trees. I have been watching The Greatest Video on tree felling over and over for the past two weeks.

He was great at what he did and very humble man. He could have gone pro in skateboarding and surfing too. but after he and His wife were expecting their first child, he left surfing and got a job as a union construction worker so he could have health insurance. He hated working that job. then he found His true passion and calling, by working in the woods. He will be truly missed by many that is for sure, but his poor family as they have to navigate through this tragedy.

Jed was very Helpful and very humble an inspiration to the whole world. he's inspired and taught so many people in our line of work. and his videos will continue to do so ..My condolences to his family.
