I know I was gone for a few years, but what happened to this thread? In the past, this used to be one of the hottest threads here, sometimes close to 10 pages a day. Now it seems abandoned. I got a ton of parts and willing to help out. What happened?
Lots of folks went elsewhere (other forums) and most of the brand specific activity seems to have migrated to those specific threads here. I'd mention the other forums but local policy would probably delete the references.

Well, I don't need a 036 jug and piston anymore, But I do need a chain brake handle for my 038 AV Super. I have of course husky parts to trade....
Got a mostly complete craftsman 3.7 (poulan). Looks like only thing broken is the left side of the handle where it connects to the lower AV. Anyone got one? Not opposed to green either

I think that by the time you have enough saws to have a surplus of parts to offer to others you have been poisoned for so long that you can never escape from its deep-seeded tentacles...
But... I'm just thinking outloud....
The ‘other’ sites seem to be thriving and even AS had made a significant comeback of sorts since the hack.
On the other hand at least from my perspective, deep pocketed collectors have done everything they can to put this hobby out of reach for your average Joe.
There may come a day when I’m forced to sell everything because saw prices are so high.
