I'm sorry, I don't see the purpose of those Al fixtures. To hold the wood runners in place? Are they screwed to the wood? And I probably asked you before, but what bit are you using? Closeup pic of the Al box you run the router on. I'm going way to complicated on mine (that's why I haven't finished it yet lol).
