Old 10-10 Macs or Homie XL12's.

They got no love from homeowners and farmbillys when new, and there's still a buttload of them out there geting the living crap pounded out of them daily.

Next up would have to be Stihl 028's.
Every dadgum one of 'em I see in pawn shops, have road rash or other signs of mangling but they are still cutting.

Stay safe!

old skool - the 10-10. they frankensaw real well too - good parts from dead specimens graft good onto others.

then there's the craftman/poolon stuff. folks on this forum try to kill them but they won't die. Won't cut, but won't die. just happy to continue on in a blissful lameness. Like pulling the legs off from a daddy longlegs just to watch its rotund little torso writhe away by sheer force of will. dunno why but it is what it is.

Any all magnesium saw with a walbro. XL12, Super E-Z, Mac 10's, Poulan 245/306, etc. You can throw them outta the truck, leave them in the woods for a year, and just clean em up and add fresh gas to get another running saw.

Stihl O28 Hands down. This saw has fell off a two story roof top, been submerged under H2O,Cut ice from buildings, and it runs just as good yesterday as the day I bought it.... Ken

I do have to say those who are choosing saws like the mac 10-10....I cant agree with you...look how many have the rear handle broken...they are tough but an all metal saw just doent seem as durable as platic-metal hybrid designs.
