Somebody tell me what the biggest saws of all time are. I know that stihl makes an 088 mag and so on but did they make any that are rare and really powerful?? like 130cc+
Thanks

There are a lot of 125+cc saws out there by pretty much every major manufacturer.

AFAIK they don't get too much bigger than that, atleast in production.

There are sick fellas out there making saws with V8s and streetbike engines on them also.

Husky 3120 is supposed to be the biggest stock saw on the market right now. But id much rather have an 880, or 660 anyday!

Stihl 090's 137 cc
Homelite 3100g around 130cc
McCulloch 125 123cc
all older saws nothing that large still in production for one man use.
Stihl 880 is 121 cc I think it is the largest still in production.
Husky 3120 is118cc
At least in the USA

I have heard a rumor about a Homelite one man saw that was 150cc but never saw one. I believe the 084 is the snappier of the 80 series of stihl saws as the 088 and 880 were both limited either by coil or carb.

Lots of big old saws out there. Here is Brad's Disston twin cylinder, it's 180cc .

Anything 100cc and larger, isn't a tree your ever going to find that will stand in its way. Any gear drive 100cc+ will almost pull a 3/4 harvester chain. Any direct drive will run a 42"+.404 and not even think twice. Bigger the saw bigger the fun

That they are.

The big saws have been outfitted with bars out to 96" and run them with no problem.

Masdens site has pictures of a 90 with an 84" bar cutting a very large tree.
