I've been doing a ton of looking and asking around for some treasures. Did run across an older Homelite 925 with a 36" bar. Saw is complete. May need carb rebuild. Any idea what one might be worth? Thanks, Bryan

Looks like 3 are on ebay and the bidding has basically just started. I was told by the guy he bought it new in 1982. Anyone know if it's worth the time?

Definitely Worth the Time!

These are very solid saws. Yours is [1] owner w/ long, 36" bar!
80cc, I believe, and very well constructed.

Intertec Manual has a section on them for service/maintenance.

If all you need is a carb job and full service,
Fix this Boy good & smile!

Yeah I agree, but I would love my SXL 925 alot more if it had a decomp on it. It's a pain to pull over and start when it's hot and the gas has been boiling in it's tank.

Runs like a mad bear though.

Isn't that the truth! The one I have has 200 PSI compression. Before I put a carb kit in it................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
