I understand the Oregon PowerMatch bar codes like 320dd176 where you have the length, gauge, nose size, and mount.

I am trying to figure out what the echo bar numbers mean, esp in terms of if the gauge is in there.

I do know that oregon bar 320DD176 is actually echo part 32DOPS3805 and therefore a 32 inch .050 3/8 with a d176 mount.

The echo bars in question are 36D0PS3816 and 360381601. They might be the same bar, can't tell. My guess is that the first of the two numbers is the new number for the same bar.

Any understand echo bar lingo?

Howdy B_Turner,

Might have to get one of the dealers to decrypt that p/n. You could just stack some feelers gauges together and put them in the groove. Than add up the thickness to figure.

I have a CS 510 and the echo and oregon p/n's are.

echo p/n 180337201
Oregon p/n 180GLGK041

The 18 means 18" bar
The 0 means .050 guage

After that the similarities are gone for me.

Is it a 32 inch bar?

It would be good to have a cross reference sheet on them.

The second bar I mentioned is a 36 incher. Hoping (and thinking) it is a .050. And if you look at the two part numbers they share the 3816.

So my guess is it's a 36 inch .050 3/8 oregon power match plus painted echo black with a d176 mount. Might be driller for oiler or not (hoping not).

Baileys carries a bar that I think is the same as the 32 incher, but their price is $119 where at least two other places online have them for low $70s...Course with the other places if they can really get them or not I'll have to find out once I verify the bar will work for me.

I have a 360rndd176 on order with baileys and if I can get that to work with my ko95 saws I will order several more bars in that d176 mount. For some reason the 36 inch version was like 79 with Baileys whereas the 32 one was 119.

Howdy,
Our ORF 360RNDD176 is the same exact bar as 36D0PS3816. It is a 36" .375 x .050 with the Oregon 176 tail. The reason or price is way out of line is that it is only available through Echo Distribution. It is a black painted bar with the Echo Logo on it. If you can catch a deal from someone else, let me know and we'll cancel.
Regards
Gregg

No Gregg, that is not what I meant. I am happy to buy that bar at your price and try it out. The price is not out of line at all. I await that bar eagerly.

The one I referred to was the 32 inch one which is considerably more than the 36 inch one at Baileys.

Not trying to make trouble, and I appreciate your getting that bar through echo for me. Certainly no offense intended here.

I also have been eyeing that 32" bar, but not at that price.I just figured those Echo boys were way on the proud side.

I'm always looking for D176 bars, and the longer ones are getting harder to find.
