I'll be putting this under the knife tomorrow. I figured I would take a few pics before I dirty it up making baseline cuts....

I really like that it has a separate strato butterfly like the 562xp. I predict very good gains from this saw.

I don't think it'll see that in wood.

First thing I would throw a orange side cover on it and proceed to build a killer as you always do

I've been waiting for a 576XPAT thread like this ever since joining the site. Mine hauls in stock form - very interested to see where you can take one.

I'm with you on the cover. My 346NE has an orange OE cover.......I gave the silver cover to an old 350 I sold.

I'm interested in seeing how it responds too. If it's anything like the 562 it will be a freak. :)

Glad to have you aboard Nik. I'll be running it for at least a tank before going inside. I ain't looking forward to that part. I bet it sips fuel.

It was hard for me to decide what I liked better when Andre had Mike's 576AT and Brad's 441-cm. I didn't run them too much but man did I like them. They really did feel like a ported saw in stock form. Sure will be fun to see how this one responds to mods!
