I poured some gas in the Poulan 245's carb and it fired right up. So I put a little in the tank, primed the carb, and the damn thing runs fine! If I let it idle for a few seconds, it wants to stumble a little when I give it the gas, but once it revs up, it's okay. At least someone drained the fuel out of it before they put it in storage.
One thing I don't like, is that it vibrates like crazy and I wouldn't want to run it all day long! My hands would go numb!
And, upon further inspection, the case is cracked. It seems a tree fell on it, bent the crap out of the handle, and cracked the case where the handle screws on. And broke the clutch cover. Somebody JB Welded the case/tank so they could still use the saw!
