i dunno about you, but it kinda reminded me of that saying... goes something like "it looked like a money trying to fck a football". for like 5min dude has skillz mang!!

and for the love of god if the guy has the $$$ to afford a 661 and all that pimpin stihl garb he could afford a longer bar ..just sayin!

Looks like that monkey fcked that football so well it squirted...gushed even! What's wrong with the way he did it...the damn thing fell down didn't it? Everyone's different hahaha:)

It's interesting for sure. He seems to know how to run the saw, but has no idea how to fall the tree. I also noticed how poor the tune is on the saw. The idle speed hangs badly for an extended period of time, and then falls. It sounds extremely lean on the low end. Not liking that at all out of the MTronic.

That 661 has a nice sounding idle. He may be comfortable with a saw, I'm pretty sure he doesn't fall many trees. There was nothing about that that made sense in terms of safety or efficiency

That's actually how I was taught to fell trees of any value. I learned some different ways since then.
Stabbing the center of the tree keeps the heart from pulling as it breaks the hinge. Starting the back cut next to the hinge keeps the saw from binding and prevents barber-chairing. It also allows you to keep your focus on the cut untill its time to back away, rather than cutting toward the hinge and watching for movement of the tree.
The guy that taught me had an explanation for every single detail of the process.

Boring thru the face sure. Starting the back cut from a corner, sure. Making u'r gunning cut twice as deep as your angled cut, can't understand that. Boring in from two different locations from behind after "completing" the back cut, don't get that either. I thought he was gonna do a modified "stump jump," but....well, I'll admit I don't know what was in his mind

Looking at his 30 or so videos that s how he cuts all the trees. Just because t is different does not make it wrong. While stationed in Germany that is how I saw the trees being cut, guys clad head to toe in PPE, making careful cuts and dropping the trees just where they wanted them. Marcell is from Hungary and I do not think forestry is high on the nations industries.
