I'm not sure I have been looking for stihl parts mainly, but found these dolmars. I think it may be a Poulan pro 365. I found other parts for it at least. I can check next time I go there.

I swear it was a120 but I have been wrong before. You would know more then I would because there is absolutely no dolmar following or dealers in my area. So if it was a 6000/6800 are these the saws that you can put the 7900 jug and slug on?

6000/6800 are 116si/120si, same same basically.

I've yet to try a 7900 OEM on one, but have done a Husky 272 top end on a 116si.

77cc can't be wrong eh?

Not at all! How much work is it to get the 272 to fit? Also what about this 123? Do you happen to have a part number for the top cover? I was back out there yesterday looking for it and thought I found it. So I tried when I came home and it hits the cylinder.

Does it hit the cylinder or the spark plug?

If that is a 6800 carb box cover it will need some surgery to clear the plug on a 120.

Here's a 120 with a 6800 cover,

Notice the texture on the 6000/6800 cover.

The si's came with a smoother texture.

Hi Fellas,
First time in the Dolmar thread, does anyone here know where I can get a piston for a Sach Dolmar 143? The other question is will one for a Husky 390 fit? I just picked up this saw and the piston is missing part of the shelf between the rings. Thanks

Nope, nobody making one currently. Hard to find top end bits for those 143's. the only solution I have hear is getting a 153 piston and having machine work done.

I would guess you would have free porting issues with the 390 piston.

I have used the 153 piston in a 143.

It was a Mako aftermarket with a dome, she had some loose squish but the old dog pulls over harder than an 125 Mac!

That one needed quite a bit of skirt removal.

Went brain dead, I should have shot you a pm. So the Husky 390 55mm piston won't work I gather?

I think that 143 just needs to come to Iowa... :)

You guys can just comer to Wisconsin and bring your big saws to cut these big maples oaks and cottonwoods. This way you guys don't have to argue who had the bigger wood lol

pretty sure most people don't see 5'-8' diameter stumps on a regular occasion like I do. I do stumping and see the biggest of the big... for iowa anyway. Doubt I ever match up to some of those 10'+ old growth trees in PNW.
