Too bad you just did my 261. Otherwise, it would be in the box and on the way to me already. Nearly half the price of a new 261 + port job.

This saw needs a little extra attention.

I would never use it on less than 32:1......and it needs to be tuned with a tach.

It runs great at idle, starts easily, the air filter is installed (that's not normal for an 026 that is this bad ass), and it can be used as a work saw.

But, tune must be watched.

A 1/4 turn of the HS screw will take it from 13,500 to over 15,000.

Randy hi
How are you today ? Well I hope .
Ever since our discussion about 32 to 1 mix I run that mix in all of my 2 stroke tools ! I would much rather change a fouled plug then a saw , blower, weed eater! This is best right?

Trades?? Pm sent

I really wish I could take trades.......normally I love to trade.

This time though I need cash. I'm taking some time off to work on other projects (fencing, new shop building, etc) and am selling these saws to fund those projects.

I run 32:1 in my weedeater and leaf blower. Never fouled a plug.

Totally understand..

Actually not sure if I needed a third ported 50 cc saw. The ms 260 you built for me
Is still pushing 235psi.
It was broke in on 50-1 dino oil[emoji33].
Moved everything to 40-1 synthetic bout two years ago.

Just the thought of having twins, was a little to much to take[emoji57]

Thanks Chris. That's a nice gesture.

I've got plenty of help most of the time......and good friends that will be here at a moments notice.

I'm a blessed man to have to friends & family that I do. When push comes to shove, friends and family are all that really matter.

hey randy nice work on the saw. how does this compare to the 261 you built me during the 261/261C comparison? im definetly itching to pick this saw up to. id love to have a couple smaller saws to compliment my fleet of 90cc saws. got a few that need to travel to tennessee to see the specialist.....

I posted a video of an 026 when I did that thread Brian. This saw is prolly a little stronger than that one was.

It would make anyone that would take care of it a great light weight powerhouse.

Jon as been a really good friend to me for years now. I remember being broke as heck, but I traded around and ended up with a Husqvarna 2100. I didn't have a bar or a chain.......but I had a big ass saw. Jon sent me a very nice bar, and a nearly new chain for it. He wouldn't allow me to pay him a penny either. He knew I'd been sick, and hadn't been working........he just wanted to help a guy that was in the middle of a rough patch.

Since then we've sent so much stuff back and forth that I've lost track of it all. But that first bar and chain he sent me really made an impression.
