That is usually the way it goes, but the insinuation that the seller is somehow dishonest, or trying to sell the saw out from under you, is what rubbed me the wrong way. A little communication goes a long way in situations like this.

Wait a second. If that's what anyone thought then I apologize because I worded it wrong. I didn't think that at all. I was blasting the people that sat around and did nothing until I said I'll take it. Then they tried to message him saying they wanted it. That in my opinion is not cool. That wasn't directed at the seller.

Ahhhh, I see the problem here; it's the old Cowboys and Indians thing. Or in this case, the old NY and NJ thing. Why can't you people ever get along? LOL! According to many peoples signatures that I have seen here, you both live in some type of Socialist Republic States so you have that in common. Plus, you are neighbors after all so you should be sharing beers, not tears! Sorry, I couldn't resist... Seriously though I see both sides because the saw has been listed for some time now with what appeared to be little or no serious buyer interest or commitment (why I don't know- great saw, price and seller). On the other hand, I think it's all about the approach of the buyer- especially if they are a new member. And more importantly, the level of trust that they instill on the seller. I have run across several saws on AS at less than opportune times financially speaking (actually, I think that's the case for many or most of us working slobs with families and CAD...) but the sellers have always been willing to work with me regarding the timelines and payment arrangements. I have always followed through in the end and people take note of that and will be more than willing to vouch for you moving forward. But that level of trust is earned, not granted here in this forum. Regardless, I hope that you end up with it because it's a great saw to own.

hahaha, where you think we live?

Just so you're aware, your echeck has not cleared yet. I'm going out on a limb and mailing your saw.

And also, so there are no surprises, I noticed while packing it that the chain catch is missing. If this is a big deal, I can send you one later but I'd have to order it. It's a $3 part.
One more thing, the muffler has been turned into a dual port using an OEM Husky deflector. It looks good.
Not sure if I mentioned this before, but this saw belonged to my best friend and at the time of listing I did not have the saw on hand otherwise I would have listed it as being muffler modded.

Nice!
Your a great guy Jeremy.
He should be very happy with that saw! Espessially at that price!

Jeremy,

I had someone buy a few guide bars from me a while back, and the payment was in the form of a PayPal e-check. I believe it was due to the buyers account not being fully "verified".
It took a few days to deposit into my account, as well.
That being said, it's still really big of you to send the saw before payment clears.

Nope. I'm verified. I've been with PayPal since 2004. I even sent him a screen shot of my bank account where the money is gone gone and gone. It comes directly from my checking account . Apparently it's a paypal thing. I've never had it happen before though.
